Refund eligibility for China Sourcing Check services depends on the case stage and scenario.

This refund policy is an operational draft based on user-supplied decisions. It should be reviewed by a qualified Hong Kong legal professional before being treated as legal advice or final legal drafting.

To request a refund, email hello@chinasourcingcheck.com from the payer email address. Include the service name, payment date, payment reference, and case email.

Refund eligibility is determined by the stage and scenario below. We do not promise a specific refund-processing timeframe until operations confirms a supportable period.

Cancellation emailed within two hours of payment Full refund. CSC does not begin substantive work during this unconditional window.
CSC refuses or cannot accept an unsupported category before work Full refund.
Minimum materials remain incomplete after CSC's notice and the two-calendar-day supplementation period Case closed; 80% of the service fee refunded.
CSC cannot deliver for a CSC-controlled reason Full refund.
Substantive work has started or the report has been delivered No standard refund.
$199 supplier does not ship or courier never delivers any expected sample The review does not start; refund the remaining service fee after actual non-refundable payment charges.
Only part of the expected sample set arrives within seven days after first arrival Buyer chooses in writing: proceed with received samples; pay for extended holding/waiting; or close subject to actual payment and receiving/handling costs.
Sample is lost while in CSC custody Liability limited to the lower of documented purchase cost and the sample value declared by the buyer and accepted by CSC; no indirect-loss compensation.
Supplier, courier, customs, force majeure, or buyer-caused loss/delay Not guaranteed by CSC. Refund, if any, follows the applicable stage and documented non-refundable costs.

Key points

Two-hour unconditional window — A cancellation email sent within two hours of payment receives a full refund. CSC does not begin substantive work during this period.

Missing materials — If required materials are incomplete after CSC's notice and the two-calendar-day supplementation period, the case is closed and 80% of the service fee is refunded.

Work-started boundary — Once substantive work has started or the report has been delivered, there is no standard refund. Buyers may still contact support to discuss case-specific concerns.

Sample loss — Liability for samples lost while in CSC custody is limited to the lower of documented purchase cost and declared sample value accepted by CSC. CSC does not compensate indirect losses.

What this policy does not cover

This refund policy covers service-fee refunds for the scenarios listed above. It does not cover:

  • Sample purchase costs
  • Supplier or courier shipping fees
  • Customs duties, taxes, or import fees
  • International forwarding or storage costs
  • Indirect losses, opportunity costs, or business interruption
